Quality Assurance Executive (Non-Food/Near Food)

Job Summary
Ensure own brand and Metro imported products comply with legal regulations, global quality standards, and customer expectations through periodic checks. Establish quality analysis and supplier audit plans based on risk assessments, then organize audits covering food safety, social compliance, and sustainability while monitoring supplier certificates. Manage non-conformities from internal and external audits, prepare product specifications, and verify labels against regulatory and customer demands. Create supplier scorecards, track customer complaints regarding safety and quality, and request corrective actions from suppliers as needed. Support the implementation of quality management systems like IFS Wholesale and IFS Logistics, and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on projects, complaints, and audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Quick adaptability to Metro Turkey's business activities and working methods
- Knowledge of production processes, product safety and regulations to non-food and near-food products such as detergents and cosmetics
- Knowledge of international product safety and quality management systems (BRCGS CP, IFS HPC etc.), social compliance standards (amfori BSCI, Sedex, etc.) and sustainability management systems (FSC, PEFC, RSPO etc.) certifications
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Dynamic, systematic working and mobility
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- No restrictions to travel
- Valid driving license required
