Job Summary
Determine if current methods and techniques meet reliability standards or require modification. Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Ensure methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment are compliant with guidance; conduct quality assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products that do not meet required standards and specifications. Specialize in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Four years of related experience with Quality Assurance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a NASA Personal Identity Verification card
- PIV background check
- drug screen
