Job Summary
Investigate customer quality concerns and drive timely resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier teams to identify process improvements, manage environmental compliance, and maintain ISO 9001 standards. Coordinate material testing with external laboratories, lead internal audits, and apply statistical tools like SPC to enhance operational efficiency. This entry-level role supports product quality and customer satisfaction across global operations for a leader in precision plastics and connectivity solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to interpret technical information and translate requirements into clear documentation and processes.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fiber optic products, cable assemblies, connectors, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and corrective/preventive action processes.
- Experience with process development and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability analysis, control charts, and other quality metrics.
- Experience with measurement systems, metrology, and precision inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and data analysis techniques.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience conducting internal or supplier audits.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience with CAD software, SPC software, or quality data management tools.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, responsible sourcing, and material regulatory requirements.
