Job Summary
Design and execute test scenarios for Oracle Fusion and enterprise integrations, validating inbound and outbound interface data across APIs, EDI transactions, and external applications. Perform backend database validation using SQL queries, test REST and SOAP APIs, and analyze business requirements to identify test scenarios and edge cases. Execute System Integration Testing, regression testing, and release validation activities while documenting defects with clear reproduction steps. Collaborate with developers and functional teams to validate defect fixes and ensure complete test coverage during Agile ceremonies. Support quarterly Oracle Fusion release validation and production readiness activities.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on Integration Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect management processes
- Hands-on experience with backend testing and database validation
- Strong SQL skills for querying and validating application data
- Experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs
- Experience validating JSON and XML payloads
- Test automation with any programming language
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion applications
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Understanding of enterprise integration concepts and middleware platforms
- Familiarity with EDI transactions such as 850, 856, and 810
- Knowledge of Oracle Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes
- Exposure to integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Basic TOSCA automation testing experience
