Job Summary
Lead quality, safety and reliability activities across toy product development to ensure compliance with global/regional requirements and customer expectations. Manage testing coordination, maintain technical files, analyze returns for root causes, and oversee packaging labeling. Travel to local warehouse in Los Angeles for oversight; collaborate with Design, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales to stay current on evolving regulations and retailer requirements. Requires a BS in Engineering or related field and 4+ years in Quality Engineering for product safety and reliability; toy industry experience and knowledge of plastics, fabrics, and related materials are preferred. Required Qualifications
- BS degree
- 4+ years experience in Quality Engineering for product safety and reliability
- Experience with toys/plastics/clothing fabrics is preferred
- Toy industry experience preferred
- FMEA/root cause analysis experience
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
