Job Summary
Seoul Robotics is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to advance autonomous driving technology. Responsibilities include developing automated test cases for perception, prediction, planning, and control modules; building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing; executing manual and automated testing across functional, regression, performance, and edge-case validation; expanding test coverage for simulated and real-world scenarios; analyzing system logs and reproducing defects; documenting test results and reports; and helping define/improve QA processes. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field, 2+ years in software QA/testing (autonomous driving/robotics/safety-critical systems), proficiency with Linux and scripting (Python, Go), Docker experience, understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with ISO standards (SOTIF/ISO 26262), simulation platforms, vehicle/wireless protocols, bug tracking tools (Jira/TestRail), and on-field testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, with a focus on autonomous driving, robotics, computer networks or telecommunication, or other safety-critical systems.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for complex, real-time software.
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go).
- Demonstrated experience with Docker for containerization and environment management.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with safety standards and processes, specifically ISO 21448 (Safety of the Intended Functionality - SOTIF) or ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
- Familiarity with simulation platforms for autonomous vehicles
- Experience with vehicle communication protocol, and wireless communication protocols
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- On-field testing experience
