Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer to support the ongoing safe and efficient delivery of decommissioning projects at Sellafield. Responsibilities include Production, review and endorsement of Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs); verification activities with Quality Control and ICG; ensuring QA standards are met and updating IMS; maintaining package status and progress reporting; supporting internal and external audits; advising project purchasing on vendor competence; initiating Quality Grade Risk Assessment meetings. Required knowledge includes ISO 9001:2015, CQI qualifications or equivalent (e.g., CQI Diploma Level 5) and broad Mechanical/Electrical/Civil engineering understanding. The role emphasizes safety, integrity, collaboration, and a flexible, hybrid working arrangement in the UK (Sellafield site, Whitehaven area) with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant outcomes across projects.
