Job Summary
Software Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for defining test strategies and test cases for complex software environments, contributing to the software automation suite, and ensuring traceability between software requirements and tests. Responsibilities include test automation for web and API testing, performance and negative testing, environment management, and test data analysis. Collaborates with Developers, Business Analysts, Product & Project Managers, and Customer Support to analyze requirements, creates and maintains automated test scripts, supports Agile releases, runs smoke/ regression/ system and integration tests across environments and browsers, reports and tracks bugs (JIRA), and oversees live releases to ensure quality before deployment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2-5 years of QA experience, familiarity with Jira/TestRail or similar tools, and experience in an Agile environment; knowledge of SQL Server testing and API testing tools (Postman or REST Assured) is a plus. Hybrid work philosophy (in office & remote) in Beirut, Lebanon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering , MIS or any related field is required.
