Job Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer role (Fully remote from India; aligned to UK business hours 9:00-18:00 GMT/BST) responsible for designing test strategies, building automated test suites (Selenium, BDD like Cucumber/SpecFlow), executing manual testing across functional and cross-browser/device scenarios, reviewing stories/criteria, participating in sprints, and driving QA process improvements. Requires 2-5 years in QA/testing, experience in automation and manual testing, proficiency with Azure DevOps/Jira, and strong communication in an agile environment; comfortable collaborating with a UK-based team and sustaining QA across the full software delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in QA or software testing (manual and automated)
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
- Strong understanding of UI, API, integration and unit testing
- Experience writing user stories, bugs, tasks and test cases in Azure DevOps or similar tools (Jira, etc.)
- Practical experience in functional testing, browser compatibility testing, device testing, smoke testing, integration testing and regression testing
- Experience in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Ability to create test strategies, plans and tests that can be clearly communicated to developers and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work remotely with UK business hours
