Job Summary
Production Planner II at Merit Medical in Mexico responsible for preparing schedules and ensuring timely completion of work orders for manufacturing, releasing work orders, coordinating with Cleanroom Supervisors, Material Handling and Purchasing, resolving schedule shortages and expedites, and preparing reports for Production & Inventory Control.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of manufacturing or materials experience
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of business math
- Ability to meet deadlines under strict time constraints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and related software)
Desired Qualifications
- ERP/MRP experience
- Experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with sterilization processes
- Experience with production planning optimization
