Job Summary
Establish quality standards for products and processes, suggesting modifications to prevent defects in components or final products. Audit production processes, raw materials, or suppliers to ensure established quality standards are met, and conduct root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, product management, and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks. Perform MRB, FMEA, Gauge R&R, and audits while applying AS9100, SPC, and metrics to drive corrective actions. Requires an Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience; up to 25% travel likely.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
- May need to stand for long periods of time
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery
- Up to 25% travel likely
