Job Summary
Conduct statistical analysis via capability studies and DOE's to evaluate manufacturing processes and determine control points. Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance systems while developing standards, procedures, and work instructions for training. Perform internal and external audits, supplier surveys, and gauge R&R studies to verify compliance and capability. Coordinate material review activities for nonconforming product dispositions and develop sampling plans to assess quality levels. Provide technical guidance on statistical process control and problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of computer programs, applications and databases
- Thorough knowledge in mechanical inspection techniques
- In-depth knowledge and implementation of statistical techniques
- Ability to identify, analyze and define possible solutions for continuous product and process improvement
- Detail-oriented tasks utilizing high language skills and advanced math skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and analyze complex information
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Structured problem solving
- Green Belt
- Supplier Quality Auditing - certified lead auditor
- EQMS experience
- Minitab/JMP experience
- Project management
- Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate math and computer skills
- Excellent listening skills
