Job Summary
QA Automation Engineer II to design, build, maintain, and improve automated test coverage across CarGurus’ Enterprise Applications portfolio, working across multiple teams and platforms with emphasis on Salesforce and its integrations with financial platforms. You’ll define and execute test strategies and automation for features across Salesforce, Zuora, Marketo, and NetSuite; perform E2E, functional, exploratory, regression, smoke, black-box, and data testing; design and optimize automation frameworks aligned with CI/CD; collaborate with QA, engineering, and product stakeholders to ensure stability, reliability, and release-readiness of enterprise systems; troubleshoot failures across services, APIs, and modules; and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years QA experience
- Experience with cloud-based CRM/ERP technologies or enterprise applications stack (prefer Salesforce)
- Experience with REST APIs and Postman testing is a plus
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, load, performance)
- Apex, SOQL, or Salesforce-related developer technologies are a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Creative/problem-solving mindset
- SDLC, Agile experience
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools/automation solutions
