Job Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer I responsible for ensuring software applications are properly tested across the SDLC by designing and executing automated tests within an Agile team, collaborating with Developers and DevOps to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline, developing test plans with Product Owners and Business Analysts, monitoring results, reporting failures via JIRA, and continuously improving QA processes and metrics. Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline, 0-3 years in software/testing, experience with automated testing (Tricentis Tosca preferred), strong communication and collaboration skills, and familiarity with scaled Agile DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other appropriate discipline
- 0-3 years in software development or automated testing or a combination of education and experience
- Display expertise in functional, non-functional, requirements testing and QA methodologies
- Experience with automated testing; Tricentis Tosca experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lead effective meetings in a collaborative manner
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Familiarity with a Scaled Agile Devops approach to testing
