Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for writing and executing test cases, developing testing processes, and ensuring software quality throughout its lifecycle. Key responsibilities include verification and certification of software products, manual and automated testing, writing traceability matrices, and providing customer support. Candidates must have a BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, alongside five years of hands-on software testing experience and proficiency in various testing methodologies, including manual and automated tests.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
- Five (5) years of hands-on software testing experience
- Five (5) years of manual testing of enterprise applications
- Five (5) years of recent testing experience on Linux
- Five (5) years of experience with written automated tests using JUnit
- Three (3) years of experience testing software written using Java, J2EE, and related technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software testing in a startup environment is a plus
- Experience testing software written in C++ is a plus

- Ability to work under pressure and with aggressive release timelines
