Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript-based frameworks such as Cypress or Protractor to validate web applications; collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and implement automated test suites; perform regression testing, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD workflows; stay current with automation testing best practices and industry trends; report defects and work with development teams to resolve issues using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience 1-2 Years in automated testing using JavaScript and relevant testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Protractor)
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
