Quality Assurance Engineer - ERP Systems

Job Summary
Design, write, and execute test cases for new ERP features and enhancements. Perform integration testing to validate data exchange between modules and external systems. Automate repetitive scenarios using Selenium and write SQL queries to verify database integrity. Test backend services and RESTful APIs with Postman. Document, track, and manage bugs through their full lifecycle while investigating complex issues and isolating root causes. Participate in sprint planning, UAT cycles, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain organized records of test cases, bug reports, and QA processes. This remote role supports Namou Properties' internal ERP platform, enabling data-driven systems that improve operational scaling and core business processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Understanding of core business processes (e.g., inventory, supply, sales) and how they flow through ERP systems
- Hands-on experience with integration testing across modules and external systems
- Working knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium
- Ability to write SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity
- Solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services, with experience using Postman or similar tools
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to support test automation
- Strong analytical thinking and root-cause analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting bugs and issues clearly
- Highly organized, with strong documentation habits for bugs, processes, and test cases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience documenting and managing bugs in Jira
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business systems
