Job Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for building and executing automation scripts aligned with the test plan, writing/reviewing test cases from user stories, leading test plan generation and validation (functional, stress, and security tests), organizing testing processes for new and existing products, tracking issues from test execution, implementing post-production monitoring/alert mechanisms, and supporting engineering efforts. Drive improvements to QA practices, adapt to new testing methodologies within a CI/CD pipeline, and explore AI/ML integrations in testing while ensuring data privacy and compliance. Requires expertise in automated testing across API, Web, and Mobile App, Agile/Scrum experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in automated test tools for functional/performance/load/security testing against API/Web/Mobile App
- Extensive experience working with software development teams and using software QA methodologies
- Experience in software requirement review and validation, especially requirements in user story format (functional and non-functional)
- Extensive experience in test plan creation and validation
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with priorities
- Ability to work with deadlines and a can-do attitude
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive problem-solving with ability to weigh up complex options to reach the right decision
