Job Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for designing and executing end-to-end test strategies across functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing; developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to enable repeatable, efficient, high-quality testing across multiple environments; validating data integrity and downstream impacts; managing the full defect lifecycle in collaboration with developers and stakeholders; leveraging Playwright, JavaScript, or Python to expand test automation frameworks, supporting UAT and release validation, and contributing to improved delivery quality in a hybrid in-office/remote Vancouver setting.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance within enterprise environments
- strong expertise in manual testing (functional, integration, regression)
- hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks
- proficiency with Playwright, JavaScript, or Python
- strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control
- ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with distributed teams
- continuous improvement mindset and passion for enhancing testing standards
