Job Summary
QA Electrical Engineer role focused on analysis, diagnosis, root cause analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic/electro-mechanical devices and assemblies. Responsibilities include upholding QA policies, performing preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment, evaluating defective products (RMAs), data collection for quality improvements, managing inventory of electronic assemblies, documenting results, and coordinating with Finance/Sales/Marketing for warranty credits. Requires BSEE with 2-5 years experience, hands-on circuit Troubleshooting, and proficiency with common electronic testing tools; interacts with cross-functional teams to improve Fireye products and processes.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE degree
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- hands-on experience with component level troubleshooting of analog circuits
- proficiency with oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, multimeters, spectrum analyzers
- proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
