Quality Assurance Data Specialist

Job Summary
Ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable by performing audits, developing quality standards, and correcting errors. Maintain oversight of the data lifecycle, interpret standards, and devise sampling procedures for reporting. Analyze participant satisfaction surveys to identify trends and areas for improvement, then develop corrective and preventive actions. Train clinical staff on data collection tools and collaborate with IT, billing, and compliance officers to assure system adherence to 42 CFR and HIPAA regulations. Document internal audits, present findings in inter-agency meetings, and prepare reports for directors and the CEO. Work M-F from 10AM to 6PM, with schedules subject to change based on program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Community Health or social service areas
- 3-4 years experience
- Data driven with focus on analytics
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA and outcome-driven data analysis
- Experience with implementation of corrective actions programs
- Industry specific experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications, EHR systems and databases
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Obtain clearance from the Office of Children and Family Services
- Be drug free
- M - F 10AM - 6PM

Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree preferred with 1-2 years in related field with in a social service agency setting
