Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary
Organize product in storage freezers, perform QA reviews of shipped products, and maintain instruments for monitoring and storing plasma samples. Set up equipment for quality control, document operational activities, and oversee destruction of unsuitable units or biohazardous waste. Manage lot-controlled supplies, approve new supply lots, and oversee daily sample management to the testing lab. Assist with employee training, perform internal audits, and report quality deviations to the Quality Manager. Requires availability Monday through Friday with every other Saturday off, plus up to 25 miles of travel. Includes five weeks of paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred in Management, Business, Nursing, Finance, or science related field

- Ability to work confidently while being observed during frequent quality inspections
- Ability to work in walk in - Subzero freezer(s)
- Ability to regularly use hands and fingers, to handle & feel objects, tools and controls; reach with hands and arms
- Vision abilities required by this job, including close vision
- Ability to stand for extended intervals, walk, climb and balance; stoop, kneel and crouch
- Physical ability to operate equipment used that may require repetitive motion and manual dexterity
- Ability to read while standing or sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time (2-3 hours)
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) required such as eyewear, lab coats, and gloves
- Availability Monday - Friday, and every other Saturday (3 on and 4 off!)
