Job Summary
Batch and measure ingredients for syrup production on the production line, operate equipment such as pumps, valves, and forklift, perform CIP cleaning of batching equipment, and record lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities. Review finished batches with laboratory equipment to ensure they meet specifications, inventory ingredients, assist the QA Technician with product checks and line inspections, and support Food Safety/HACCP, SQF, and general food-safety practices. Role requires lifting up to 75 lbs (repeatedly 35 lbs) and occasional overtime; reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager at the Preston, WA plant, on-site five days per week with shift hours 9:00 pm–5:30 am (training on first shift). This role is safety-sensitive and part of the Plant Operations team focused on ensuring bottles are produced safely and on time.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.
- Math and computer skills desired.
- Experience in an automated production or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Chemistry or food science experience is a plus.
- Ability to accommodate overtime, occasionally working other shifts and weekends.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
