Job Summary
Lead the architecture, design and development of automation testing tools/frameworks to ensure high-quality UX and data integrity across product lines. Collaborate with development, manual QA, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, drive the QA lifecycle within an Agile process, and develop automated tests for releases. Mentor teammates on automation best practices, conduct code reviews, stay current with industry standards, and establish automation metrics (ROI, flake rate, risk coverage) to communicate test health to cross-functional teams. Requires deep expertise in Playwright (TypeScript) with Python and NodeJS, API testing (REST/GraphQL), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/containerization (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven technical expertise in software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python; NodeJS experience
- Experienced with Playwright (TypeScript)
- API testing (REST/GraphQL)
- CI/CD and Github Actions
- Version control, defect tracking, test management tools (GIT, JIRA, Qase)
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- Load/stress testing frameworks/methodologies
- Cloud platforms (Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and data quality metrics
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
