Job Summary
Quality Assurance Analyst - Consultant in Columbia, SC with hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Responsible for translating business requirements into test cases, designing test scenarios, and reporting issues. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 5+ years experience in QA) and 3+ years of healthcare operations experience (preferably Medicaid). Must communicate status—reports of open issues and gaps—to Development teams. Experience with formal test design tools and familiarity with SDLC/AGILE is expected. Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is preferred. Prior work in healthcare operations and Medicaid-related QA is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (can substitute for formal education)
- 5+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
- 3+ years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid)
- 3+ years of experience in communicating and publishing status reports of all open issues and gaps found during test phase and articulating details to Development teams
- 3+ years direct hands on experience with formal test design tools
