Job Summary
Test and inspect products to ensure PEI-Genesis quality standards and customer-specific requirements are met. Review and disposition nonconforming material while maintaining compliance with procedures and training requirements. Complete quality documentation and work instructions per the Quality Management System, ensuring accurate testing and proper component verification. Operate inspection equipment including calipers, drop indicators, and force gages to meet near and color vision requirements. Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the ability to fluctuate schedule as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Product/Process knowledge
- Ability to fluctuate schedule as deemed necessary by management or as the work load requires
- Strong work ethics including, but not limited to, attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand simple drawings, CAPIs and work instructions
- Basic PC experience
- Working with various inspection equipment: calipers, drop indicators, force gages, DWV-IR tester, etc.
- Ability for personnel performing acceptance testing of product to meet Near and Color Vision Requirements
- Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours
- Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool
- Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Math skills are a plus
