Quality Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Lead and guide technicians and safe launch personnel through training, coaching, and process validation while conducting regular audits to assess quality-related activities. Ensure correct isolation and verification of suspect materials, performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections to confirm compliance with standards. Exercise sound judgment on subjective quality decisions, serve as the Quality Department representative on safety boards, and act as the Voice of the Customer in the Material Review Board process. Collaborate with Quality Engineers on root cause investigations, manage electronic work instructions, and maintain daily system entries and quality reports. Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee performance and attendance issues, uphold 6S standards, and communicate leadership messages to site personnel. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, five years of manufacturing quality experience, bilingual English and Korean proficiency, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including multiple shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual in English and Korean
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and independently initiate tasks within scope
- Deep understanding of workplace safety programs and practices
- Proficient with gauges and various measuring instruments
- Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and presentation
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including support across multiple shifts
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
