Job Summary
Quality Assistant Manager role supporting the Quality Manager in managing the Quality Department, ensuring customer expectations via quality standards, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring AMP/5D Panels, ensuring policy adherence by QREs, collaborating on quality improvements with manufacturing plants, participating in staff meetings, serving as liaison between management and Engineering/Production Control, reviewing daily logs/CCRs/AMP/5D to identify problems and corrective actions, ensuring third-party processes follow procedures, overseeing warehouse containment activities, and traveling 25%-50%. Requires BS/BA or certification, experience in quality engineering/QA, proficiency in MS Office, supervisor experience, and manufacturing/automotive plant exposure; passport required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Supervisor experience
- Requires 25%-50% travel
- Must have passport
- Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive Plants
- Experience with Wire Harnesses
- BS/BA or professional certification
