Job Summary
Quality and Safety Excellence Nurse supports the manager in quality and safety strategies, CMS and regulatory requirements, and high-reliability initiatives. Responsible for applying quality and safety measures, reviewing medical records for CMS and The Joint Commission requirements, educating physicians and clinical staff on documentation standards, generating reports and scorecards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive variance reduction and performance improvement across patient outcomes, safety culture, and risk management initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher
- Current RN license to practice nursing in Iowa
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare setting
