Job Summary
Lead quality improvement and patient safety projects for The Oncology Institute, traveling up to 50% with a mix of remote work and clinic site visits. Develop education and training materials for the nursing team; train providers and staff in patient safety and quality improvement tools and practices. Collaborate with ASCO QOPI Quality Nursing Specialist to work on quality measures; perform routine site audits to ensure patient safety best practices; track, measure, and maintain project documentation; report progress to the Quality Manager. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to close gaps in care, review adverse event reports, conduct root cause analyses, and revise protocols as needed. Strong project management, analytical thinking, and communication skills are essential to drive improvements and influence clinical outcomes across TOI clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality improvement, healthcare, or equivalent experience
