Job Summary
Oversee all quality and infection prevention programs, including Clinical Education, new hire orientation, and annual training. Implement quality activities to enhance resident services, collect and analyze data, and develop reports using Root Cause Analysis and Lean methodologies. Manage infection control, perform surveillance, identify outbreak trends, and coordinate the immunization and TB testing programs for all employees. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintain QAPI plans, and prepare state reports. Plan and evaluate educational needs, conduct training programs, and assist Human Resources with orientation. Rotate weekend and weekly on-call responsibilities while providing leadership to direct care staff. Requires a Registered Nurse license and Long Term Care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Registered Nurse education program
- Current Certificate in CPR/BLS
- CPR Instructor certification
- ND RN License
- Currently in good standing in all states in which you have ever been licensed as a nurse in the U.S.
- Current CPR (or approved equivalent) certification
- Must be able to rotate weekend and weekly on call responsibilities
