Job Summary
Lead process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to analyze workflow, labor utilization, and operational layouts for efficiency gains. Develop engineered labor standards, conduct time studies, and implement corrective action plans for identified bottlenecks using root cause analysis tools. Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and KPI dashboards to monitor quality and productivity while partnering with leadership on scalable operational solutions. Train team members on performance standards and prepare analytical reports to support executive decision-making. Requires Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, minimum three to five years of experience, and Six Sigma certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or related field
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Industrial Engineering, process engineering, or operations optimization role
- Experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and process optimization techniques
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel – pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable operational improvements
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience conducting time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to design efficient operational layouts and material flow processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership
- Ability to train and influence team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments
- Knowledge of quality systems and relevant regulatory or customer standards
- Have reliable transportation
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
- Be willing to submit to a background check and drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse or distribution center experience
- Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- ISO 9000 or similar quality systems experience
