Quality and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures, and policies to ensure products and services meet requirements while monitoring and auditing quality assurance processes. Oversee internal audits, analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes, and implement strategies to reduce defects and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including CMMI V3.0 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Manage vendor verifications, maintain vendor records, and support HR compliance efforts such as EEO reporting, I-9 documentation, and internal audits. Serve as a process champion to maintain Organizational Process Asset Library documentation, conduct gap analyses, and generate weekly status reports. This role requires a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance and 5-7 years of experience applying CMMI and ISO practices throughout the Project Management Life Cycle.

Required Qualifications

  • CMMI V3.0 or higher Practitioner Certification
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
  • 5-7 years of applying Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) practices and requirements throughout the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
  • Experience with creating and maintaining process documentation and process flow models
  • Experience with auditing departments, divisions, and programs/projects, reporting and tracking nonconformances to resolution
  • Experience with participating in CMMI V3.0 and ISO 9001:2015 Internal and External audits
  • Ability to identify, plan, and execute work independently with minimal or no oversight
  • Ability to gather information and resolve issues independently
  • Ability to identify, manage, and track progress and escalate issues as needed
  • Ability to multitask in a changing environment
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Possess facilitation and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with the execution, monitoring, and administration of Quality/Process Improvement best practices
  • Experience serving as a member of a Change Control Board (CCB) or Governance Board
  • HRCI or SHRM Human Resources Certification
  • Candidates who have developed processes/workflows and implemented industry quality certification programs
