Job Summary
Process and investigate nonconforming material reports and customer complaints to achieve closure. Maintain quality management system documentation, conduct internal audits of AS9100 processes, and track performance metrics and KPIs. Support corrective and preventive action processes, including reviewing supplier corrective actions using the Eight Disciplines methodology. Prepare quality reports for management review, coordinate training programs, and support external audits and certification activities. Monitor supplier quality data, maintain calibration records, and review First Article Inspection Reports. Participate in management review meetings and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in AS9100 quality management systems
- Associate's degree in quality, business, supply chain management, or related field
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of aerospace quality management requirements and standards
- Experience with document control and quality management software
- Strong understanding of corrective action processes
- Familiar with problem solving methodologies demonstrating the ability to analyze and bring problems to closure
- Internal auditor certification
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with quality metrics and KPIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with risk-based thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR/EAR requirements
- Experience with IPC-A-610
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-883
- Experienced with AS9102 Aerospace First Article Inspection
- Green Belt certification
