Quality Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products in accordance with established procedures. Interpret analytical results to document data accurately, identify deviations, and support root cause analysis for out-of-specification results. Execute inspections and release testing while ensuring proper equipment calibration and maintenance. Actively participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits to promote compliance with GMP and quality standards. Support the training of junior technical personnel and interns when applicable. This role is based in Tlalnepantla, Estado de México, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related fields with 1–3 years of quality control experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Sciences, Biology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control, Laboratory, or related quality functions
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quality control principles
- Experience operating and interpreting results from Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
- Knowledge of sensory analysis and the ability to accurately describe sensory characteristics
- Experience interpreting specifications, analytical methods, and technical standards
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22716, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Experience working with laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and quality documentation
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to follow strict procedures
- Experience within the fragrance, flavors, cosmetics, or specialty chemical industry
- Experience participating in quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in regulated environments with high quality and compliance standards
- Must be available for on-site role in Tlalnepantla, Estado de México
