Job Summary
Qualified Social Worker in Child Protection responsible for conducting assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs; developing and implementing child protection plans with multi-agency teams; undertaking statutory visits and maintaining case records; intervening in crisis situations to ensure immediate safety; attending child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings; liaising with schools, health professionals, police and other agencies to coordinate support; providing written reports for legal proceedings; monitoring cases and advocating for the rights and welfare of children and young people; requires Social Work England registration, UK work eligibility, a full UK driving licence, and 3+ years post-qualification experience.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
- Minimum 3 years of Post-qualified experience
