Job Summary
Support clients from initial contact through therapy, resource linking, and care gap bridging. Deliver clinical coverage across programs, including crisis intervention, while connecting families to vital community services. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and strengthen relationships with referral sources and community partners. Lead or contribute to outreach and education efforts promoting Amethyst's programs. Requires bilingual Spanish fluency, one year of post-graduate counseling experience, and reliable transportation for community work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- At least one year of post-graduate counseling experience

- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, especially in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

- Interpersonal skills that foster mutual trust, respect, and collaboration
- Self-motivation and initiative; you take ownership of your work and follow through
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
- Comfort providing services in the community (must have reliable transportation)
- Experience supporting youth and families from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships across the community
