Qualified Professional I (QPI)

QPI serves as the primary advocate for assigned consumers and ensures monitoring functions are completed; assists in investigations of abuse/neglect; completes guardianship processes for adults; represents LIFE, Inc. with local advocacy groups; chairs the Interdisciplinary Team; coordinates with schools, workshops, and outside agencies; completes Habilitation Plans and NC SNAP Assessments; ensures active treatment through appropriate program staff; schedules and documents interim meetings; records progress notes and event logs; ensures compliance with ICF/IID regulations and LIFE policies; completes payroll references for staff; participates in hiring, on-call rotation, and disciplinary actions; oversees staff scheduling and orientation; supervises habilitation staff; monitors weekly data for consumers; ensures monthly Home Inspection Reports and maintenance of property; manages budgetary costs; coordinates services with consultants.
