Job Summary
Provides advocacy and oversight for group-home consumers, serving as primary advocate to ensure monitoring is completed; leads interdisciplinary collaboration, conducts habilitation planning and NC Snap Assessments, ensures compliance with ICF/IID regulations and LIFE policies, and assists in investigations of abuse/neglect. Oversees staff scheduling, payroll, hiring decisions, and on-call coverage; chairs the Interdisciplinary Team, participates in Utilization Review and various committees, maintains contact with school systems and outside agencies, documents progress and action plans, and supervises data entry and monthly inspections to support active treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services field such as Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, etc.
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Basic computer skills.
