Job Summary
Utilize personal lived experience with addiction and recovery to provide mentorship, emotional support, and advocacy to patients receiving Mental Health or Substance Use treatment. Facilitate recovery groups, navigate community resources, and aid in developing relapse prevention skills for clients in the Outpatient Services program. This role requires a NC Certified Peer Support Specialist who has received SUD services, with proficiency in EHR systems and reliable transportation. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Join a team providing exceptional services in disability, mental health, and substance use across North Carolina and Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
- Must be a NC Certified Peer Support Specialist
- Must be or have been a recipient of SUD services
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy
- Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
- Monday - Friday Scheduled: 8am - 5pm
