Job Summary
Provide structured rehabilitative interventions to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders, focusing on housing, money management, daily activities, and personal wellness. Conduct home visits and participate in crisis phone rotation while applying therapeutic approaches and group techniques in a community setting. Work independently to support clients across the two life domains within Surry and Yadkin Counties. Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to a flexible Monday-Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an community setting
- ability to work independently
- ability to be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis
- Participation in the crisis phone rotation
- Bachelor's Degree from an approved accredited institution
- Minimum of two years' experience working with the Adult Mental Health population
- A valid driver's license
- current auto insurance
- a good driving record
- high moral and ethical character
- be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry
