Job Summary
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is responsible for performing comprehensive mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family counseling focused on mental health, substance use, and crisis intervention within partner facilities in the Portland metro area. The role involves providing evidence-based therapies (CBT, mindfulness, DBT), maintaining confidential records, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, educating clients and families, and ensuring adherence to policies, training requirements, and compliance standards. The position requires licensure as QMHP in Oregon, CPR/First Aid, and CPI (preferred), with on-site work in Portland facilities and options for full-time or part-time W2 arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Full Independent Licensure as a QMHP with the Mental Health Accreditation and Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO)
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Non-Violent Crisis Prevention (CPI) Certification preferred
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening with documented results within the last 12 months
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination or provide an exemption as needed
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
