Job Summary
QMHP in a full-time role at Shawnee Correctional Facility (Vienna, IL) providing comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting. Responsibilities include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multidisciplinary team, case management, and delivering individual and group therapy. Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and an active Illinois independent license (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC or LSW). Must maintain TB documentation and CPR/AED certification. Minimum of two years’ direct care experience preferred; successful completion of background check and agency security clearance where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
- Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW required
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
- Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
