Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect mental health care under supervision of licensed professionals in Portland metro-area facilities. Conduct routine patient observations, assist in developing and implementing therapeutic activities, support patients in daily activities, facilitate group therapy and educational workshops, and provide crisis intervention as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans, maintain patient confidentiality, document progress in electronic health records, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Assist in administration of medication under supervision, participate in required trainings and continuing education, and perform additional duties per supervisor. Requires QMHA certification, CPR/First Aid, TB screening within 12 months, and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or exemption.
Required Qualifications
- Full Certification as a QMHA with the Mental Health Accreditation and Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO)
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- TB screening with documented results completed within the last 12 months
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination or provide an exemption as needed
