Job Summary
Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to ensure safe medication oversight in a behavioral health/residential treatment setting. Responsibilities include receiving and storing medication orders, recording vital signs, observing self-administration of medications, supporting nursing staff during emergencies, maintaining narcotics security, documenting patient interactions, and upholding privacy and infection-control standards. Requires High School Diploma or GED, current QMAP certification, CPR/First Aid, and 1+ year healthcare/behavioral health experience. Compensation: $17-$19 hourly. Location: Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current QMAP certification in accordance with state regulations (must be maintained in good standing)
- CPR and First Aid Certification (required or obtained within 30 days)
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare/behavioral health/residential treatment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and patient rights
- Ability to accurately document and follow instructions related to medication handling and vital signs
- Strong observational and communication skills
- HIPAA compliance
- EHR experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
