Job Summary
Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, strictly adhering to the five rights of medication administration. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and perform accurate medication charting directed by the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Properly label, store, receive, and destroy medication in compliance with company policy and state regulatory agencies. This travel role supports short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, requiring a Certified Medication Aide (QMA/CMA) and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state
- Maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state
- Valid and unencumbered driver's license
