Job Summary
Administer oral, PRN, inhaler, nebulizer, topical, rectal, nasal, eye, and ear medications under nurse supervision while assessing lung function and monitoring vital signs. Calculate dosages, stock the medication cart, and document all treatments on the MAR chart. Observe residents for drug reactions, report concerns immediately, and audit documentation for accuracy. Safely lift, move, and transfer residents as required. Attend mandatory meetings, participate in med pass audits, and follow established company policies. Required Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have current, unencumbered state license
- Must be able to provide all necessary documentation
- Must be a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and transfer residents as required
- Must be able to attend all mandatory meetings and in-services
- Must be able to participate in a med pass audit at any time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
