Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, strictly adhering to the five rights of medication administration and state regulatory guidelines. Label, store, receive, and destroy medications per company policy while performing medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Additionally, assist residents with activities of daily living as needed. Maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing and hold current Qualified Medication Aide certification.
