Job Summary
Administer and document medication according to organization policies, supervise self-administration when applicable, and complete treatments per nurse's orders. Provide personal care assistance as required, observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education while promoting resident dignity. This role supports residents in a continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Medication Aide Certification
- 1+ years of caregiving or other related clinical experience
- Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with the elderly
- Detail-oriented
