Job Summary
Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians, adhering to professional standards and safety protocols. Provide direct care to residents, communicate their needs effectively, and assist with programming activities while maintaining positive public relations for the facility. Participate in scheduled in-service training programs and follow infection control policies. This role requires a valid QMA certificate, at least one year of long-term care experience, and a valid driver's license. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options with weekend availability; full-time positions are needed. Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 hourly with shift differentials. The DaMar Team is seeking candidates for assisted living facilities in the Indianapolis Metro area.
Required Qualifications
- Valid QMA certificate from an accredited program
- At least one year experience in long term care
- Valid DL
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be okay with working weekends
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year experience in assisted living preferred
- CPR & First Aid Certification a plus
- TB completed test a plus
- Physical within a year a plus
- Comfortable providing above average patient service
- Physically able to stand and walk for periods of time
- Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
